Dear Yogis,
Spring is in the air!!! That said, let’s see what exciting announcements It’s Yoga has to share.
We are happy to see the flowers and trees in bloom as we blossom with another year of abundance, filled with the gifts that we receive from the practice of Ashtanga: gifts of health, strength and commitment to the greater good. As we complete our third teacher training this year, we want to acknowledge all of the 2007 graduates for bringing their enthusiasm, dedication, and bright eyes to It’s Yoga. Whether you traveled from Sweden, Japan, or Berkeley (or several other countries) your contribution to the “silent revolution” is timely, important and inspiring. It truly has been an honor to be in the circle with each of you.
With the rebirth and awakening that occurs during Spring, it’s another opportunity to look at the practice from a fresh perspective, of appreciating that vinyasa moves us not only through goals in our personal practice on the mat, but also toward manifesting our goals off the mat. Along with the Passover and Easter holidays, we are reminded of the ancient practices of honoring light and divine presence on Earth, inspiring us to stay connected through all the business of modern life. With Spring Equinox behind us, the days are getting longer again reminding us to expand, grow and stay light. Spring is in full bloom! That said, let’s see what exciting announcements and It’s Yoga has to share.
We are pleased to announce several upcoming events.
• It’s Yoga Firenze!!! Open and blossoming! Reed Taylor will be in Florence from May 23rd thru June 10th to support and share some San Francisco love with the Florentines! Contact itsyogafirenze@gmail.com to let Michele know you are on your way. Visit Florence and keep your yoga practice strong!
• It’s Yoga Stockholm has also moved to a new space. Edwin and Catarina have been busy serving their community and expanding each day. David Kyle from Puerto Rico is on his way there for a Rocket training in May, and Larry and Marie get ready to follow along in September for a teacher training. • Todd Taylor travels to Puerto Vallarta in June for a Rocket Training in the sun! Contact info@itsyoga.net for details. This and all other workshops are open to any interested It’s Yoga fans out there.
• Puerto Rico Retreat Center –
It’s time to expand the vision of It’s Yoga to a year round destination retreat center where families can come to rejuvenate in paradise. It’s Yoga is seeking partners to co-create a center with and bring this vision into being. Please come talk to us if you would like to be a part of this exciting vision.
• Puerto Rico Spring Retreat: Larry and Marie will be offering a workshop at It’s Yoga Puerto Rico from April 19 – 21. This Rocket Workshop is sure to be filled with lots of insight into the Rocket poses and philosophy; while demonstrating its ability to bring the classical Ashtanga practice to the Ashtanga “jazz” fans of the West. Pilates Training : July 1-14: It’s Yoga is pleased to host a Pilates Mat Certification Program offered by Centered Body Pilates. increase core strength and deepen their yoga practice with thea.
- Manifesting Your Dreams Workshop: with Jennifer Lee, May 18th-20th. Stay tuned for more details. Jennifer completed her training here at It’s Yoga March 23rd bringing such grace to the circle. She will be holding a trunk show at the studio prior to the workshop to show her dream boxes and answer questions.

Rocket Training: We will be holding our only Rocket Training Intensive from August 19 through August 29. To preserve the intimacy of the training, we will be limiting space to 15. As this will be the only Rocket Training of the year in San Francisco, we expect space to fill to capacity quickly.

Weekend Teacher Training:
From September 7 – November 11. Also a 15 person minimum, so sign up soon to reserve your space.
